SPRING
In March of this year I was looking forward to celebrating 10 years of working with Martin Tinney at his Cardiff gallery, when I received news that the gallery was about to close and Martin was to retire.
During the Spring I continued to work in the studio, travelled up to Aberdeenshire to paint in one of my favourite haunts and had a run of card designs printed.

SUMMER
The Summer took me overseas, to Nosy Be – an island off the coast of Madagascar. I was struck by the fiery and incredibly rapid sunsets and produced a fair amount of sketchbook work. When I got back into the studio I worked up my sketches into larger pieces.
I also was involved in the Crovie Preservation Society charity auction. I donated four pieces; helping to raise money for this special place - a village very close to my heart.

AUTUMN
November brings new beginnings:
November the 17th will see the launch of CELF GALLERY, in Cardiff. I am very happy to be one of the artists involved with this stunning new gallery; I have worked with the team behind CELF GALLERY for many years.
I hope to have a solo show at CELF at some point next year. This will include my Madagascar work, plus some Scottish pieces and landscapes inspired by my home, here in Eryri.

The Royal Cambrian Academy, Winter exhibition, commences on November 25th and runs until 30th of December. I have four pieces in this show. You can visit the gallery in Conwy, or view the show online here: www.rcaconwy.org.

In December, I will have a piece of work available for auction via the City Hospice, Cardiff.
